Pregnancy: Week 33

I am 33 weeks and one day! I should start posting these closer to the week mark since I'm getting closer and closer to being full term! This week was amazing. I wasn't sure how my body was going to respond sleeping on an air mattress all week, but I was fine! I stayed up way too late every night laughing and playing cards and games with our friends, the Pittmans, who stayed with us this week. I also took a long nap everyday, which helped with late nights!

Baby Hurst is the size of a pineapple weighing a little over 4 pounds and measuring just over 17 inches.  His or her skeleton is getting harder, but the bones aren't fully fused together to help with the birthing process getting through the birth canal.

***Josh took these when I was 33 weeks and 3 days***

How far along? 33 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Pineapple
Total weight gain: About 30 pounds total.
Maternity clothes? Yep!
Stretch marks? No news ones still.
Sleep: Sleep has been normal.
Best moment this week: Playing endless hours of canasta, a card game, with our friends Becca and Zack. It was the most fun I have had just relaxing in my own home!
Movement: Movement has again just gotten bigger and bigger! I know when baby Hurst is asleep or awake. I'm pretty sure our little one is going to be feisty and all over the place. Aren't those natural traits of a red head anyway? (;
Food cravings: Ton of jalepeƱos this week. I only craved chicken broth once this week, which was quickly taken care of by some amazing chicken tortilla soup.
Miss Anything? I miss my balance! Josh and I went hiking with a group of our friends and he literally had to hold the back of my shirt as we walking down the mountain in case I slipped. Given, the rocks were slippery from the previous days of rain, but my balance just hasn't been the same! I could also say my endurance on this same hike. When we walked up the mountain, Josh basically pushed me up it. He  locked his arm and pushed me up the trail using his leg power. Needless to say, his legs were very tired at the top!
Symptoms: Normally I have a story to tell, but I had ZERO symptoms this week! Yay! Just a healthy boring pregnancy here!
Belly Button in or out? Outty
Wedding rings on or off? On - although it is getting tight for the first time throughout my pregnancy.
Mood? I have been so happy spending the entire week with the Pittmans visiting! It was sad to see them go..
Looking forward to: Picking out our pediatrician this week! We have appointments to get to know two of them. Both of our pediatricians are highly recommended from tons our friends plus their practices align with our parenting style.
