3rd Pregnancy: Week 27

How far along? 27 weeks
Baby weighs as much as a: Head of cauliflower
Total weight gain:
Waist Measurement:
Maternity clothes?  My go to outfit is my maternity jean shorts, a comfy shirt (not maternity), and a yoga top as a bra (comfortable and not as tight as a sports bra)
Stretch marks? None still, but I can feel the skin stretching across my belly.
Sleep: Sleep has been great. I have attended 5 births this month and sleep has been a necessity to catch up on sleep. Judah is actually the one having a serious regression. He must know the baby is coming and he will no longer be the youngest.
Best moment this week: No big story or anything. I've just really been enjoying my sons learn to play together and truly love one another. Shepherd has become such a softy lately taking Judah under his wing. Judah has had a hard time this month for one reason or the other and I can see empathy and compassion all over Shepherd. He'll guide Judah over to play trains with him or let Judah squirt a water gun at him endlessly. They are the best of friends right now, and I am praying this continues throughout adulthood.
Movement: Movement has been insane and all over the place. I don't remember movement like this until I was 33 weeks or something.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular. Nothing will sounds and then I NEED TO EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. We went to Texas Road House and nothing on the menu sounded good except the Rattlesnake Bites, fried diced jalepenos and cheese.
Miss Anything? Nothing right now. I'm really enjoying my pregnant body this week. I may not say that in the weeks to come when I have a 15 hour flight followed by a 4 hour flight!
Gender: I'm still team boy, but only because I'm being a realist. Plus I'm pretty sure my budget will go to crap if I have a girl because I'll want to buy ALL THE GIRL THINGS!
Symptoms: None just a stretchy/itchy belly
Belly Button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Tired just because of the births I've attended but other than that I've been great!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 26

Well this week was definitely one to put in the books for me. Marinda knew she was supposed to be induced at exactly 41 weeks, on Friday, June 16th. My mom and I had noon flights booked for June 15th. I had my clothes laid out anyway just in case she texted me she was in labor.

Of course, on June 14th at 4:45pm, Colten text my family that contractions had been about 7 minutes apart for 45 minutes. I immediately went into go-mode. I ran to my room and threw my pile of clothes into my backpack and made sure I had all my camera equipment. We looked up a flight that left at 6:15pm and landed in Denver around 9:30pm (10:30p Texas time). IT WAS PERFECT.

Josh dressed and loaded up the boys in less than 5 minutes and helped put my luggage in the trunk. We drove to the airport, but it was all too good to be true. All the flights were booked to Denver. Southwest and United could get me to Dallas, but the flights to Denver were actually over-sold. I had zero chance of making it and a large chance of getting stranded in Dallas.

Defeated, we turned around to head home. Josh jumped in our other car to head up to church for our weekly small group that started at 6pm. I knew my pot roast would be undercooked because I took it out of the oven to prevent the house burning down. As I was driving through Cane's, I got the overwhelming feeling that I needed to drive. DRIVE NOW.

I called Josh and told him my plan. He was completely okay with it, to my surprise. I dropped the boys off at church at 6pm, threw tcar seatsats in our other car (almost literally), and set my GPS to Castlerock, CO. Everything was already packed in my car from going to the airport so I didn't waste anytime. I decided to drink the sweet tea from my meal and nothing else to decrease the amount of times I needed to stop. I stopped once to unload the bladder and fill up on gas.

I pulled up the parking lot of the hospital in Castlerock at 12:30am (1:30am Texas time). When I text Colten telling him I was here, he text back that I got here at the perfect time. MARINDA WAS JUST CHECKED AND SHE WAS 9.5 CM!!!!! In a sweat, I rolled my camera bag with my step ladder up to the 3rd floor right alongside my dad. We had made it there within minutes of each other!

Marinda labored for a short 30 minutes after I arrived in her room. Her water broke shortly before she began pushing to her surprise! One of my favorite quotes was Marinda talking about how warm her water was when it broke and my brother nonchalantly said, "yea. It was probably around 98.6 degrees." Marinda worked hard pushing for around 2 hours and 15 minutes. The nurse moved her on her side several times and put her legs and feet in all different positions to give baby boy enough room to come out and get in the right position. Marinda pushed to "Push It," "Under Pressure," "Ice Ice Baby," the edited version of "You Can Do It," and others. The best was when the doctor said, "whatever is playing right now is what the baby will be born to, which at that time was "You Can Do It."" Colten quickly changed it to "Don't Stop Believin'," and baby Graysten was born the next set of contractions!

Graysten Stanley Peak was born at 4:05am weighing 7lbs 3oz and 19.5in! Other than my own babies being born, I don't think I've ever been so proud!!!!

This is what I look like after driving ~8 hours & staying up all night at a birth.
A picture my brother took as I was taking the above photo

How far along? 26 weeks
Baby is as long as an: English hothouse cucumber
Total weight gain: 234 pounds
Waist Measurement: 37.5 inches
Maternity clothes? Really just my jean pants and shorts. Alas, I think my maternity clothes are lost in the attic of my in-laws.
Stretch marks? None.
Sleep: Well I have slept deep and long when I can! After getting to Marinda's birth and losing so much sleep, it has taken me a full 5 days to recover. Plus it doesn't help that the boys have been sick and been getting up in the middle of the night.
Best moment this week: Witnessing Graysten being born!!!! It was definitely top 5 highlights of my life! Watching my brother and his wife work together so intimately within a room that only a select few are allowed into was such an honor. Its moving to be at a birth, in general, but I LOVED being there for my family.
Movement: Movement happens all the time especially right when I try to fall asleep. I have, in the past, felt all the movement down south, but lately I've felt movement on either side too.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Gender: My money is still on a boy. AND WE STILL DONT HAVE A NAME!!! AHHHH! Seriously, we have nothing.
Symptoms: Nothing other than just being super tired from driving to Denver and staying up all night.
Belly Button in or out? Out!

Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Still on cloud 9 from meeting Graysten. By the way, I LOVE HIS NAME!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 25

This entire week I have completely been on edge. My sister-in-law blew right through her due date on June 9th, and now we sit on June 13th still waiting. You would think I would be used to birth work enough that I can sleep without losing a wink, but THIS IS DIFFERENT. IT IS MY SISTER-IN-LAW CARRYING MY VERY FIRST NEPHEW! I cannot handle the anxiety. It could also be that Judah hasn't been sleeping through the night. Maybe he feels the change coming and that I am about to leave him for a few days. Maybe he isn't sleeping through the night knowing that I am pregnant and we have been constantly talking about the milk being that baby's when he or she gets here. Who knows? BUT I CANNOT SLEEP!

My guess date was the 11th, and obviously baby still isn't here. There are only a few guesses left from our family, and no one guessed the 16th, her induction date. Our plan is to fly out this Thursday, the 15th to be ready for the early induction the next day. I am so excited! I have guesses on a name, but we shall see (I think the middle name *might* be Lawrence, my brother's middle name. We will see).

(Once I find my picture I'll post it!)

How far along? 25 weeks
Baby is the size of an: acorn squash
Total weight gain: 23 pounds
Waist Measurement: 37 inches
Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing nike shorts, yoga pants, or my maternity shorts. I just wear longer shirts, but not maternity shirts.
Stretch marks? None, but today my belly was super itchy in one spot and I realized that it could potentially be a stretch mark coming on.
Sleep: SLEEP IS THE WORST. Between the anxiety of getting a phone call in the middle of the night, Judah's sleep regression, and my lack of bladder control, sleep is not coming. It has been taking me 30 minutes to an hour to go back to sleep after Judah wakes up, and who knows how long it takes me to fall asleep at night even when I'm tired.
Best moment this week: I have loved going to the pool this past week. We went 3 times and have already got our money's worth. It's $100 for our entire family for the month of June, but it is $30 for our whole family to go one time. I plan on going tomorrow and many times next week after I get back from meeting baby Peak.
Movement: Lots of movement down low in the uterus (just like last pregnancy).
Food cravings: Nothing this week. Everything has been normal. I've even added eggs back into my diet, which I haven't been able to eat almost my entire pregnancy.
Gender: I'm still thinking it is a boy, but we shall see!
Symptoms: Just some vomiting in the morning a couple times this week.
Belly Button in or out? Out.

Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Anxious and excited for baby Peak to arrive.

3rd Pregnancy: Week 24

Today marks exactly two years I've been nursing Judah. I cannot believe we've made it this far especially since I struggled to feed Shepherd for 8 months. I never planned to nurse him this long, but it is amazing the difference it made for me staying home instead of pumping at work. A real baby nursing made all the difference versus a pump. My body clearly doesn't respond to it.

Judah doesn't nurse every single day, but most mornings he does and I don't refuse him. Mainly because this gives me a good excuse to stay in bed longer and cuddle. Do I nurse him before bed? Absolutely not. Our bedtime routines are already long enough, and I don't like to prolong those. I don't think I am producing much, and it is definitely a comfort for Judah. We have already been discussing almost daily that the new baby will get to have mommy's milk - not Judah.

If Judah doesn't wean himself by the time this baby comes around, I plan to feed baby 3.0 and let Judah nurse afterward with whatever is left. I planned on doing this anyway with a pump to make sure I have a big enough supply in case I am gone for a birth, etc... So Judah will just take the place of that and I'll just pump once a day.

I've had plenty of nay-sayers with continuing to breast-feed Judah until this age, but there is plenty of research showing this is absolutely normal and he is still getting nourishment that is beneficial. Plus we are getting some great quality time together and we both love that. Anywho, here is to celebrating two years of nursing - a year more than my goal!

How far along? 24 weeks
Baby is as long as an: ear of corn
Total weight gain: 17 pounds
Waist Measurement:
Maternity clothes? I've just worn comfy clothes, dresses, and my pregnancy jean shorts this week!
Stretch marks? None that I have noticed.
Sleep: Sleep has been horrible, but no because of pregnancy. I've had an entire week of (TMI) diarrhea with no other symptoms. One night I woke up every 30 minutes. Most nights I've just had to get up once or twice though. My doctor wasn't worried at day 5, but he told me to come back at day 10 if it persists. THIS IS COMPLETELY MISERABLE!
Best moment this week: This week we celebrated Judah's 2nd birthday. HOW?! How did this happen so quickly? We had a "Choo Choo I'm Two" birthday party, because, duh, I had the banner I kept from Shepherd's 2nd birthday and it was perfect. We had friends bring water guns to enjoy a water fight and no gifts. It was absolute bliss.
Movement: Despite the horrible di di, baby 3.0 has been kicking away which is a complete relief!
Food cravings: No cravings especially this week with me being sick. I was lucky enough to eat toast during some meals.
Gender: We still don't know!
Symptoms: Nausea and vomiting have come back this week mainly because I haven't been able to eat much.
Belly Button in or out? It is still kind of in, which I'm worried about because my chiropractor said how around my belly button dips in is not a good indication of the positioning of baby

Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Just exhausted and puny. I've still been going hard trying to host and lead all the things we've had this week, although I've had to skip two different get-togethers! These are what I have attended and hosted just this week: Wednesday night small group, Thursday open table (hosting two families for dinner), Saturday my son's birthday party and family grill out, and Sunday night s'more night. I've pressed through, but man, I have felt crappy! Pun intended.

3rd Pregnancy: Week 23

How far along? 23 weeks
Baby weighs the same as: 5 small peaches
Total weight gain: 17 pounds
Waist Measurement: 37 inches
Maternity clothes? This week I've really just worn t-shirts and athletic shorts!
Stretch marks? None yet.
Sleep: Sleep has been decent. With Josh back in the bed (his congestion has finally cleared up and so his snoring has mostly resided), I wake up and just roll him over.
Best moment this week: Getting to witness a natural birth of a bunch of red heads! Seriously I LOVED that the mama and dad both had read hair along with their sweet baby boy. I would love to have a red head, but my little gingers keep turning in to blondies!
Movement: Movement is regular! Josh feels the baby all the time. I do exercises regularly to get the baby off of my bladder, but he or she just keeps moving on down there.
Food cravings: Just not healthy food
Gender: Still a surprise. My inklings still tell me baby is a boy!

Symptoms: I haven't had ANY symptoms this week with the exception of junky cravings.
Belly Button in or out? Out but it is still in line with most of my belly. So hard to explain it!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Really good considering this has been a normal week and I finally got to shoot another birth after a month!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 22

How far along? 22 weeks
Baby is the length of a: Papaya
Total weight gain: 14 lbs still
Waist Measurement: 36 1/4 inches
Maternity clothes? Basically nothing on the bottom half of my body is comfortable except granny panties and I could burn all the bras, because they too are extremely uncomfortable.
Stretch marks? None so far, but I definitely feel my belly stretching.
Sleep: I sleep well, but I've been so tired I can barely make it to 9:30pm, but as soon as I get in bed I can't fall asleep until 11. So frustrating!
Best moment this week: We bought a house! So we've been moving in and trying to get settled. We had some of our chinese neighbors and a few of our friends from our small group come help paint the entire house! It is all coming together, but the house still feels barren. We last minute decided to rip up the carpet in the living room, and we'll be putting in some faux wood floors!
Movement: Movement has been way more regular than the past weeks. I feel him or her all the time.
Food cravings: It is more of aversions lately. Josh cooked some grilled chicken and it made the entire house smell like booty. I had to hang out outside until the smell went away. Josh ended up eating it all, and I snacked on the boys' quesadillas.
Miss Anything? I wished I could have helped move and paint. I felt super helpless this week and very dependent on everyone else.
Gender: Nobody knowwwwss!
Symptoms: I've gotten sick only one time this week!
Belly Button in or out?Its in the inbetween stage still.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Just incredibly tired, but that could be that I haven't taken any iron since the move.

3rd Pregnancy: Week 21

How far along? 21 weeks
Baby is the length of a: Carrot
Total weight gain: 14 lbs still
Waist Measurement: 36 inches
Maternity clothes? Some shorts and pants
Stretch marks? None.
Sleep: Pretty good. I have been beyond my normal exhaustion lately on a day to day basis, but my midwife figured out that I could use some iron and that really helps my energy when I remember to take it.
Best moment this week: Getting to spend some time with Salem, my midwife, after my prenatal. I always feel full when I see her and her fam.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular.
Miss Anything? Just feeling normal. This is the most out of shape I've been and I'm just ready to eventually feel some muscle tone again.
Gender: Still a surprise!
Symptoms: I've only vomited once this week. I'll take it!
Belly Button in or out? Still kind of in.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: More moody than normal, but I have also been more tired than normal, which could explain it.

3rd Pregnancy: Week 20

How far along? 20 weeks
Baby is the length of a: Banana
Total weight gain: 13 lbs
Waist Measurement: 36 inches - given this is after dinner and my before-bed-snack
Maternity clothes? mainly yoga pants and t-shirts lately!
Stretch marks? None.
Sleep: Fairly good, but I'm ready for Josh to get over his sinus issues. When he is sick he snores SO BAD, so he has been sleeping on the couch to give me some relief while we sleep. I definitely sleep better when he is snoring on the couch, but I sleep even better when he is not snoring in my bed!
Best moment this week: We did our 20 week ultra sound and it was a true blessing seeing this tiny human kicking with no abnormalities or anything to be worried of. After doing some bereavement work and watching my friends walk through loss of their littles, I see pregnancy so differently now and understand the vulnerability of the development of a person. His or her heart beat was 155bpm and had their hands in front of their face the whole time.
Movement: Yes, but just every once in a while.
Food cravings: I just prefer my food be spicy, so I'll add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to almost anything.
Miss Anything? Not right now.
Gender: We still don't know, but I'm calling it - boy.
Symptoms: Morning sickness about every other day.
Belly Button in or out? In between, Id say.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: So good!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 19

This week was the hardest yet. Josh went out of town for most of the week to attend a conference in Orlando, Florida. I have never felt more tired fully wearing the hat of both mommy and daddy. The one thing I missed more than anything was the 45 minutres to an hour Josh uses right after he gets off work to take the boys for a walk, to the tennis courts, or to the pong while I cook or rest.

I had no idea how much I cherished and needed this time to myself. Despite getting as much rest as I could squeeze in at night and when the boys napped, I felt like I just "got through" the days instead of truly enjoying and experiencing them. I've never been more thankful for Josh to get home and cook his homemade pancakes that I love but haven't been able to eat since becoming pregnant with this little one. Apparently, he isn't a huge fan of daddy's cooking skills, but I'm sure he'll love them in a few years like the other boys do.

Yes, I have referred to this baby as a boy since day 1. If he is a little boy, then I will have known from the beginning, and if this little on is a girl I will be utterly shocked! Either way, I'm excited to add to our crazy crew.

In the NICU documenting a family graduating and going home

How far along? 19 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Mango
Total weight gain:
Waist Measurement:
Maternity clothes? Yes, but STILL cannot find my box of pregnancy clothes.
Sleep: Better mainly because my boys have been sleeping until 7am, which NEVER happens... in their whole lives it has never consistently happened! Blessing straight from God.
Best moment this week: Having my husband and son return home!!! Oh and watching Shep on our new video monitor. I was pretty against having one......until we got one. He is HILARIOUS to watch as he basically wrestles himself to sleep.
Movement: Lots and lots this week.
Food cravings: None this week.
Miss Anything? Nothing. I am pretty happy Josh is back in town and my boys are sleeping!
Gender: I still think this baby is a boy, but everyone else swears its a girl.
Symptoms: Morning sickness is about every other day.
Belly Button in or out? I still consider it "in" knowing how "out" it gets.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Still tired and sluggish, but I've been more motivated with my new vacuum! Such a mom thing to say...

3rd Pregnancy: Week 18

At the surrogate birth I attended this week. You can see my bump if you look past the scrubs swallowing me.

How far along? 18 weeks
Baby is the size of a: green bell pepper
Total weight gain: 10 pounds. I finally weighed myself at my prenatal appointment!
Waist Measurement: 34 inches
Maternity clothes? Still mainly yoga pants, pregnancy pants, and a size up in regular jeans, but I still can't find my box of maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep: Sleep has been good, but I can't wait for Josh to get back because I haven't felt rested all week!
Best moment this week: Getting to spend time with Salem and the Silvey family, hearing this sweet baby's heartbeat, AND document a beautiful surrogate birth story!
Prenatal update: Baby's heart beat was around 160 BPM. My blood pressure was great and everything checked out. What I am most excited about this week is my birth pool! I bought a birth pool and the kit to go with it. Plus I got my birth supplies and preparation list for my home birth. So excited!
Movement: Yes. Lots of kicks right to the girth!
Food cravings: Nothing, in particular, this week.
Miss Anything? Just the motivation to work out. I have zero energy and when I have a little bit of energy I use it to play with my boys and edit a gazillion pictures.
Gender: I think it is a boy!
Symptoms: Occasional morning sickness here and there, but my main symptom is low energy.
Belly Button in or out? Mainly in, but it is starting to flatten out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Good now that I am off-call now for a few weeks. Time to rest up and spend some time with my family!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 17

I have got to tell you about my 17th week of pregnancy. I already have low energy in the first trimester, but it hasn't been much better in my second trimester either. Every time I get the call and head to a birth, I use all the adrenaline and birthy endorphins to power through each birth story. Last Thursday I enjoyed a hospital birth and went back the next day to document their baby 24 hours new. Saturday morning I visited another family the day after they had their baby to do another Fresh48 session. While at that session, I got a text from two different moms saying they were in labor. One was planning on having a home birth and the other a birth center birth in Midland. They both slowly progressed all day, and I couldn't tell which one I was going to end up going to first. My back-up photographer was ready to go at any point. I ended up going to the homebirth first and staying almost 30 minutes after she had her baby until I got the text that the other mama had made it to Midland, two hours away, and her water broke.

Without taking a minute to really think about anything, I jetted out of that birth and drove to Midland. I got there at 2:30am. Her water breaking was really pee and they were all settling down trying to rest. I slept 3.5 hours at my mom's house before heading over to the birth center at 6:30am.

Around 10am I recieved a text message asking about my friend, Jessica. She didn't make it to church, which is a big deal when you are leading worship on Easter morning. I didn't think much of it until I recieved multiple texts about how Jessica wasn't answering her phone, her car wasn't home, etc... All of a sudden our entire Aldersgate community and the rest of Jessica's friends and family started a serious search to find her. After checking her apartment, the house she was house sitting at, and asking all the people we could think of that may have been at the wedding she attended the night before no one could even find a lead as to where she might be. I felt helpless not being able to physically search for her and emotionally a wreck worrying about the possibilities of what could have happened to her. Finally, she was found several hours later (her story could fill an entire blog post itself). Her disappearance plus my lack of sleep was an interesting recipe for my emotional state.

All day my client labored beautifully with her husband and doula by her side. I documented, napped, cried about Jessica, documented, ate, napped, cried when they found Jessica, and documented some more. Finally at 9:30am we headed to the hospital. It was clear that my client wasn't able to progress past 5cm. With 2 previous cesareans, we were all cautious of the risks trying for a natural labor. We went when she and baby weren't in distress, but mama was exhausted.

Long story short, my client ended up with a c-section. With her c-section they had complications with cutting her bladder and needing to call in a specialist. She ended up not coming out of the OR until around 3am. I stayed until around 3:30am taking pictures of her older kids meeting their new sister, but I didn't crawl in bed until around 4:30am.

I slept until 8:30am and got up with Sarah, the doula, to head back to Midland. My body was coasting that first day, but the next day I was completely useless. This was by far the hardest week of my pregnancy due to the physical and emotional impact on me. And you know I loved every second of it...except the missing Jessica part. Not that. But everything else was amazing!

Homebirth selfie!

How far along? 17 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Onion
Total weight gain: Honestly I have no idea! I haven't really weighed myself this pregnancy

Waist Measurement: 33 inches
Maternity clothes? Yes - mainly just pants. I need to bust out my maternity clothes from my other two boys, but I have no idea where I've stored that box after moving from Kentucky.
Stretch marks? None so far.
Sleep: Sleep has been scarce, but that is mainly from attending so many births this week!
Best moment this week: Getting to witness such different births this week from hospital birth to home birth to birth center transfer to cesarean.
Movement: Not really any movement, but Kelli, the midwife in Midland, measured baby's heartbeat. HIS heartbeat was 155-160 RPM. I'm pretty sure it is a boy.
Food cravings: Nothing, in particular, this week - just eating enough to survive this crazy schedule!
Miss Anything? Just rebounding after I miss a lot of sleep. I used to be fine after getting up at 3am, but this preggy body feels it for days afterwards.
Gender: We won't find out again this time around, but I have a strong feeling this babe is a boy. #momofboys
Symptoms: Still morning sickness every morning.
Belly Button in or out? In still
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood?: Exhausted, but loving my job!

3rd Pregnancy: Week 16

This week was especially interesting. I knew I'd have a lot of births coming up, so of course, my body decides to shut down. I start to get the sinus congestion, cough, and eventually a sore throat and mucus overload. The day that I thought I was starting to recover, I was still extremely exhausted. I almost didn't make it through our Thursday night small group. In fact, I think I nodded off a few times. I went to bed right at 10:30pm, and I got a phone call at 11pm from a client saying she was at the hospital checking into a room at 6cm.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE BIRTH. I love witnessing everything about it but on that particular night, something beyond my own will-power must have helped pry me out of bed.
Baby was born around 1:15am, and I stayed there until 3:30am. I finally crawled into bed after a shameful Whataburger run. I slept 5.5 hours, but the next day I felt equivalent to freshly poured tar being steamrolled over and over until there is no more give in it.

I am curious to know if I would have felt exactly the same way not being pregnant and repeating that entire timeline over again. On-call life isn't always easy or glamorous. It is sometimes really inconvenient, but it is glorious nonetheless. I've done 2 more births since then, and I am waiting for 2 more mamas to call me! So here's to my continual birth-room selfies!

This is my reality. Only taking selfies at births, because that's the only time I have to take pictures of myself!

How far along? 16 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Avocado
Total weight gain: I really need to replace the batteries in my scale!

Waist Measurement: 33 inches...not sure how I got smaller other than the fact that I have been bloating to elephant-size at night. In the morning, I am tremendously smaller.
Maternity clothes? I've been wearing a few pants, but they are actually a little big. I'm considering hot washing them to shrink them a bit, but I'm sure I would regret that in a few weeks.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: I've actually gotten lots of sleep this week. Well, after getting only 30 minutes last Thursday due to be calling to a birth. I went to bed at 6:30pm and then 8pm the next night. Even though I've had plenty of sleep, the quality has been great. I've woken up with headaches each morning, which is no fun.
Best moment this week: Witnessing a birth! It still never gets old. Even at 3 o'clock in the morning.
Movement: I haven't felt any movement this week.
Food cravings: I still have the biggest urge to eat Thai food. I've been resisting my favorite restaurant, Thai Pepper and eating, not so healthy, 10 cents Ramen noodles with egg. Bless. But it is saving us a fortune.
Miss Anything? I am really just missing my energy level. With low energy, I haven't had much ambition to blog, take any pictures, or pursue anything beyond the bare minimum in my business.
